Kiewit Power Delivery is a full-service engineering and construction solutions provider, completing projects of all sizes and complexity. Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Site Management: Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and manage site logistics.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to address any issues.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints. Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Negotiate contract changes and resolve disputes.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet specified standards. Conduct inspections and tests to verify compliance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and meeting minutes. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for project execution
Qualifications
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed
• 5+ years' experience in all aspects of managing commercial construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
• Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management or a related degree or comparable work experience.
• Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done
• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong organization/time management skills
