As a Labor Relations Representative for Kiewit, you will be part of a team that is responsible for representing the company with work involving the National Building Trades Unions of North America

District Overview
Kiewit Power Constructors (KPC) provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a union craft force. Kiewit Power Constructors builds major EPC power plant and solar farm projects throughout North America.
Location
This position is based out of our office in Lenexa, KS and is full-time in office.
Responsibilities
- Report to the President of Labor Relations
- Craft Labor Availability Surveys
- Drafting memos
- Applying for national Project Labor Agreements
- Coordinating pre-job meetings with labor unions
- Provide force reports for current union direct hire craft on Kiewit projects
- Represent the company at trade events/union meetings
- Key man/Alumni agreements across business lines
- Field questions from craft over issues related to benefits, pay and other miscellaneous items
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication and written skills
- Proficient in Excel

- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
