Primary Responsibilities
• Manage and direct process improvement for engineering and design in the power delivery business line by providing new and refining existing means and methods for a consistent approach to meet project goals and objectives;
• Ensure tools for defining project scope or work, schedule and budget are clear and easily understood by users.
• Establish standard project controls procedures and quality plans for all engineering work; then help implement these procedures on all projects specifically on cost controls, schedules and budgets.
•  Refine and improve change management procedures and guidelines to ensure we adequately capture all changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule.
• Maintain and modify cost & schedule controls in coordination with the lead project controls analyst to ensure project needs and adequate historical information for estimating is documented.
• Drive consistent project reporting and scheduling across all power delivery projects and in compliance with Kiewit standards
• Provide support to the operations department for special projects on a case-by-case basis.
• Serve as the power delivery operations representative with clients, constructor, subcontractors, and vendors at kickoff meetings, pre-job walks, project reviews, and other meetings and correspondence with both external an internal partners.
• Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure procedures and guidelines are followed.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of cost and schedule fundamentals and practices to track and budget progress with project milestones.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in any discipline from a four-year college or university
• At least 10+ years’ related experience and/or training, specifically in the energy industry
• Competent in the use of computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
• Familiarity with Kiewit operational tools such as Primavera P6, SAP, Powercast, Power Query, Hard Dollar, and Ops Management (desirable)
