Position Overview
The Kiewit Technology Group is seeking a Business/Systems Analyst to join our HR Technology Product Team. The Business/Systems Analyst is responsible for providing excellent customer service by working with key stakeholders, business users and product owners to define business requirements for optimizing processes and translating them into workable technology solutions. The Business/Systems Analyst will collaborate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new HR technology solutions, enhancements to existing solutions and continuous process improvements.

Location
This position will be based out of our Kiewit Business Center in Omaha or Lenexa. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, end users and product owners/managers to understand business processes and how technology can be leveraged to solve problems and create efficiencies
- Discover, define, articulate and document detailed functional and technical requirements
- Design and configure solutions in SAP SuccessFactors that meet requirements when applicable
- Plan work and provide accurate effort estimates for business/systems analyst deliverables
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, end users and internal technology teams to drive satisfaction with the Kiewit Technology Group
- Author and edit a variety of business, systems and project documentation including, but not limited to: user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, functional specifications, non-functional specifications, reporting requirements, business process flows/diagrams, knowledge base articles, etc.
- Facilitate and participate in meetings/workshops with stakeholders, end users, a variety of technology teams and 3rd party partners
- Collaborate with software engineers, software quality assurance analysts, solutions architects, data enablement, integration engineers, information security, and others to ensure functional results
- Stay current with the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies
- Contribute to development of HR technology, data and process roadmaps
- Manage data across a variety of systems with a focus on data quality
- Participate in communications and change management affecting HR technology platforms and impacted processes
- Administration and escalated support as needed
- Assist employees, vendors and customers by answering questions related to business/systems analysis processes, procedures and services
- Be a key participant in our journey to the next generation of HR technology solutions at Kiewit
- Be a subject matter expert (SME) in SAP SuccessFactors and other HR technologies
- Provide knowledge transfer to appropriate technical support groups
- Display excellent customer service abilities and always be willing to help with a positive attitude
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in an Information Technology, Human Resources, or related role
- 1-3 years’ demonstrated configuration & solutioning experience with SAP SuccessFactors
- Experience with a variety of SAP SuccessFactors modules that may include Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, Succession & Development and Compensation
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors integrations
- Understanding of and experience with the software development life cycle
- Understanding of the Waterfall and Agile Frameworks and software development practices
- Ability to recognize, assess, and mitigate risks to committed deliverables and timelines
- Able to clearly communicate progress and risk
- Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
- Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver
- Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present information both to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to maintain clear focus on achieving results that meet professional and quality standards, within agreed upon timelines
