Position Overview
Kiewit is looking to expand its engineering technology department into a world-class organization able to support Kiewit’s operational and development needs as it relates to engineering applications, especially Kiewit’s various CAD software environment. This position will work with other team members, Engineering and Design Departments to provide operational and development support.

Location
This position will be based out of our Kiewit Lenexa office at 8900 Renner Blvd. This is shared service center in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support to project utilizing CAD software in various district environments. Software includes but not limited to Autodesk and Bentley products
- Set up and manage new and existing engineering projects utilizing CAD software, including reporting options, rules, scripts, macros and backup systems
- Identify potential service-level problems and facilitate solutions
- Schedule and prioritize work to accommodate user needs with minimum impact. Identify potential areas for new or revised policies and procedures as well as opportunities to reduce cost while improving end-user satisfaction
- Coordinate training for new hires and end-users to become proficient with CAD software to be used on engineering projects or field functions
Qualifications
- At least three-ten years’ experience in CAD administration and development
- Relevant engineering and/or construction industry experience is preferred
- Experience using and supporting CAD software – AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Raster Design, Navisworks, Revit, MicroStation, AutoTURN, BIM applications, etc.
- Highly motivated and self-directed with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience in customizing and configuring CAD software, writing scripts, batch files, LISP files, creating seed files, etc.
- Ability to setup software and work in Citrix environment
- Experience creating CAD documentation for engineering processes
- Experience using BIM applications for project coordination
