Position Overview

The office clerk position is a support role within the Little Long Dam Safety Project. In the role, the candidate will provide coordination, and support to other employees on the job-site, promote teamwork and creativity and enforce quality of work.

District Overview

Eastern Canada District's projects include highways, bridges, mass transit, mine site development & open pit operations, hydroelectric powerhouses, wind-power plants, dams & industrial. They serve the construction and mining industries and operates in Eastern Canada.

Location

This position is based out to Laval or Oakville for our Little Long Dam Safety Project.

Responsibilities

  • Update manpower and camp schedules
  • Responsible to perfrom administrative tasks and clerical duties
  • Receptionist responsibilities at front desk
  • Controlling office correspondence including mail, pick-up and delivery parcels
  • Designing filling systems
  • Coordinating office supply requisitions
  • Provides procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of office records.
  • Report to HR manager by reviewing and analysing special reports, summarizing information and identifying trends.
  • Booking flights
  • Administrative Covid related tasks like booking and coordinating on-site Covid appointments
  • Contrubutes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid driver s’ license
  • High School Degree is preferable
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Excellent in word and excel
  • Possess a robust work ethic and be able to work independently, while able to thrive in a team environment
  • Comfortable working long hours
