Position Overview
This is a shop or field position. The technician will assist in the development and implementation of Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) applications for use in the field, and will assist in set up and calibration of equipment. The technician will also conduct tests using the proper NDE methods and techniques, as well as review, evaluate and document any and all results.

Location
This position is based out of Ingleside, TX.
Responsibilities
Develop understanding of the quality requirements related to assigned work.
Perform field inspections in accordance with standard procedures.
Communicate inspection results to the project operations team within the allotted time.
Report inspection results in clear and concise manner.
Promote and maintain effective communications and relations (verbally and in writing) with supervisor and the project management team as required.
Listen to other employee's and supervisor's suggestions, complaints, problems, safety concerns and recommendations, evaluate each, and then devise and implement a plan of action based on that evaluation.
Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective actions to eliminate or minimize hazards
Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and waring devices (i.e. back-up alarms, smell of smoke, different colored warning tags, warning sirens).
Produce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications, and industry standards.
Assist with identifying and reporting rework and non-conforming issues.
Be motivated and work productively
Perform all other job related duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have the aptitude for highly technical work. High School Diploma or GED is required. Must possess a valid Texas industrial safety radiation card or proof of a 40-hour radiation safety course.
