Primary Responsibilities
•    Support a team of engineers and estimators in developing estimates for future projects in the OGC market.
•    Perform conceptual design of instrumentation & controls for EPC estimates
•    Adheres to Kiewit and industry standards and practices
•    Considers multiple solutions and makes good decisions based on good data analysis.
•    Recognizes, troubleshoots and resolves design constraints and issues.  Applies economic analysis to determine best cost solutions. 
•    Questions accepted ways of doing things and actively seeks opportunities to try new ideas.
•    Can review and mark-up I&C scope on P&IDs
•    Identifies and performs value engineering as ways to reduce cost for an estimate/pursuit
•    Recognizes the importance of customer needs.
•    Performs assigned work efficiently and effectively to maximize person productivity.
•    Can produce estimate engineering deliverables such as: preliminary instrument & I/O index, network architecture drawing, and spec/scope definitions for DCS, PLC, SIS, and insruments & analyzers
•    Create equipment requisitions for vendor quotes and review and evaluate the quotes on a technical basis
•    Support construction estimating in developing quantities and justifying design decisions

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering minimum required.
•    4-10 year minimum relevant experience in refining and petrochemical industry.
•    Receives little to no instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignment. Receives guidance on high risk or advanced conditions.
•    Can provides guidance to less experienced engineers & estimators.
•    Adjusts to varying demands of work and performs well.
•    Develops and presents work in well-constructed written and verbal presentations.  Clearly conveys messages and ideas, gains understanding.
•    Works collaboratively across departments and involves others in solving problems. Initiates meetings within own team, other disciplines or internal customers for clarity on work.
•    Supports project teams and departments in a positive and productive manner. Works well with other to accomplish common goals and objectives. 
•    Serves as point of contact for external or internal customers.
•    Follows through on commitments made to internal and external customers. 
•    Able to manage multiple responsibilities with set expectations and meet deadlines.
•    Able to specify actions to take when standards or contract requirements are not met.
