District Overview

The Kiewit Energy marketing, creative and proposal team provide get-work services to an array of markets, including power generation, transmission and distribution, renewables, industrial, oil and gas, and water/wastewater. Individuals in this department get exposure to a mix of high profile, complex pursuits across North America valued from $5M-$6B. Responsibilities

•    Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design 
•    Create and manage large-scale documents in Indesign and export sections in Word for editing by other authors 
•    Develop graphic design solutions to support in the production of winning proposals and compelling visual presentations
•    Confer with internal and external clients to discuss and determine layout design
•    Manages and organizes large-scale documents within Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word
•    Ensure compliance with corporate standards and owner specifications when determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy as well as selection of style and size of type for final review and submittal
•    Plans, schedules and coordinates activities following standard procedures, including planning, review, and production of graphic elements for statements of qualifications, proposals, brochures, and other marketing/business development materials 
•    Manages production efforts, keeping current on changes occurring in the graphic design industry regarding hardware, software and related computer programs 
•    Assists other managers with creative services tasks 
•    Will be responsible to communicate directly and professionally with vendors who assemble and prepare final layouts that deliver and achieve the company’s desired results.
