Position Overview

As a Data Management Administrator, you will develop, manage, and test database and information systems and play a vital role in problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. You will significantly contribute to the strategy and engineering of the data life cycle management within Kiewit Energy U.S.

This position will be based out of our Energy Corridor office in Houston, TX. Responsibilities

  • Participates in problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Monitors systems and platforms for availability.
  • Develops, manages and tests database and information system backup and recovery plans.
  • Build tools and utilities to automate workflows, reporting tasks, and batch process data.
  • Manage and contribute to the strategy and engineering of the data life cycle management.
  • Prepares and distributes reports, including but not limited to daily, weekly and monthly - marketing, financial and operational reports.
  • Create documentation to help our users use the applications effectively.

Qualifications

•    Prior data or systems management administration experience required
•    A bachelor's or associate’s degree related to the role strongly preferred
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Strong expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•    Previous track record of successfully meeting deadlines and project expectations
•    Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, as needed
•    Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
•    Ability to maintain strict confidence of important, sensitive information and materials
•    Enthusiastic team player with an interest in helping the team stay connected and working effectively together
