Position Overview
Kiewit is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Corporate Leader for Quality Analytics & Data to design, lead, and execute the enterprise-wide data strategy that underpins quality excellence. This individual will be responsible for building advanced data analytics capabilities, integrating digital solutions, and transforming quality-related data into actionable insights that drive continuous improvement across all business units.
This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strong expertise in data analytics, digital transformation, and quality management, combined with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead organizational change.

Our principal quality objectives are to meet or exceed clients’ expectations and to eliminate rework by performing our work “right the first time.” We monitor our performance against these objectives and require continual improvement.

Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Analytics Leadership
• Develop and implement a corporate data and analytics strategy focused on quality performance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Define data governance standards, quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support enterprise-wide reporting and decision-making.
• Lead the creation of advanced analytics dashboards and visualization tools to provide real-time visibility into quality performance across engineering, procurement, and construction operations.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
• Champion the adoption of digital technologies, automation, and predictive analytics within the corporate quality function.
• Partner with IT and operational leaders to integrate quality analytics platforms with existing systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, project management tools).
• Drive innovation by leveraging AI, machine learning, and statistical modeling to identify trends, predict risks, and optimize project quality outcomes.
Enterprise Reporting & Insights
• Deliver regular, data-driven reports to executive leadership on quality performance, systemic risks, and opportunities for operational excellence.
• Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for business unit leaders.
• Support executive decision-making by providing scenario analyses and data-driven forecasts.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Work cross-functionally with project, regional, and corporate teams to embed analytics-driven decision-making into daily operations.
• Lead initiatives that transform data insights into corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and sustainable process improvements.
• Establish feedback loops to ensure data insights drive tangible improvements in field execution and client satisfaction.
Leadership & Talent Development
• Build organizational data literacy by training operational leaders and project teams on effective use of analytics tools.
• Represent Kiewit as a thought leader in data-driven quality management across industry forums, client engagements, and regulatory discussions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in data analytics, quality management, or digital transformation in the engineering or construction industry.
• Proven success in developing and leading enterprise-level data and analytics programs.
• Strong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean) preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Six Sigma Black Belt, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and regional offices as needed.
