District Overview
Kiewit's South-Central District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include mass grading, drainage, paving, utility and more. Although most of our work is regionally based in the south-central region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the United States. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry as opposed to design.

Responsibilities
• Supporting the day-to-day office administrative needs for the safety department.
• Maintaining excellent recordkeeping of safety-related training.
• Inputting purchase requests in a timely manner.
• Supporting any project safety activities as needed.
• Providing weekly SSE training schedules and attendance logs.
• Scanning and uploading past HSE documents for record retention purposes.
• Monitor and audit incidents tasks, and assessments.
• Manage and order all safety forums/documents, such as start cards, on the spot lift plans, LSA of the day books, hero recognition program, books, etc.
• Order and keep inventory of recognition items.
Qualifications
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• 1 – 3 years of experience working an administrative role within the construction industry required
• Experience providing administrative support to safety teams
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc) required
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work with teams across varying departments
