Position Overview
As a QC Coordinator at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting construction activities by planning, organizing, and implementing various management duties. This includes project control systems, engineering interface, subcontract and materials management, purchasing, and scheduling. You will provide project administration or support to a Senior Project Engineer on larger projects and manage technical and administrative staff to facilitate instruction management services.
District Overview
Kiewit's Southeast District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include building bridges, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams, pump stations or tunnels. Although most of our work is regionally based in the southeast region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the east coast. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry instead of design.

Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of contract plans and specifications for the assigned work.
- Identify field conditions, problems, inaccuracies, and cost-saving measures, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Inspect subordinates' work for compliance, address deficiencies, and provide corrective actions.
- Manage project master schedule and document control effectively.
- Prepare cost and cash flow projections, recommend operational improvements, and provide project team support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience and education in project or field engineering.
- Professional Engineer designation is strongly recommended.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction or engineering field.
- Demonstrated willingness to relocate as needed.
