Kiewit’s water/wastewater group is currently seeking Field/Office Engineers to join our business! This position will specialize in water/wastewater work. Kiewit self-performs much of the work that is done, so be ready to get on a project and get your hands dirty! We are looking for people committed to the construction industry and not design.

Our mission is to make a difference and we offer opportunities for you to make one too through our construction operations.  Whether we're boring tunnels through mountains, turning rivers into energy or building bridges that connect communities, we depend on our passionate, skilled, and safety-obsessed construction professionals to get it done right. You bring your big ideas, commitment to top quality, and an unwavering work ethic. In return, we offer huge career and travel opportunities and the satisfaction of building the next big thing from the ground up. There's a reason Kiewit attracts the best: we offer fast-paced excitement and fulfillment you won't find anywhere else.

As a Field/Office Engineer you will be introduced to a variety of office and field activities as well as estimating in order to develop your understanding of construction. During your first few years, you can expect to spend time learning and working on shop drawings, submittals, schedules, take offs, pay requests, contract changes, and project documentation. While learning these things you will have the opportunity to travel the country building complex projects that make a profound impact on communities.

Kiewit's Water Facilities South Group has a home office in Irving, Texas but leads work all over the southern region of the United States. including, but not limited to, Florida, Georgia, and Texas. However, one of the many things that makes Kiewit's culture unique is that we go where the work is, which exposes your career to abundant opportunities. We relocate our teams based on the work that is available, combined with the development plans, skill sets and career goals of each team member. This means your Kiewit adventure is custom-designed to meet our shared needs. Job assignment location will be determined closer to your start date.

•A bachelors or masters degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, or a related degree

•0-5 years construction/engineering experience
•Must be willing to relocate for the first assignment and throughout a career as we operate on project/work need basis

•Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
•Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
•Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
