Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering is seeking a Project Controls Department Coordinator with specific responsibility for supporting the project controls department in the Englewood, Colorado office. We are looking for the ideal candidate to be detail and customer service oriented.  The candidate must be eager to contribute in multiple facets of the department.

District Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety. Clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and best practices for all projects that we support.

Location

This position is based out of Englewood, CO.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to department leaders
• Coordinate and arrange meetings including agenda preparation, meeting invitations, reserving and preparing facilities and resources
• Take notes and prepare meeting minutes and action items for selected meetings and workshops
• Maintain contact lists and calendars
• Assist with new hire orientation
• Manage department document control
• Maintains departmental staff databases
• Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations
• Prepare reports, collects and analyzes information as needed
• Maintain a working knowledge of standard software/technology
• Assist and/or arrange conference calls
• Greet scheduled visitors and direct them to appropriate area or person
• Assist managers with planning and scheduling of activities
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative experience preferred 
• Previous construction or engineering experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and comfortable presenting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point and external user sites.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work well with others in all capacities within the company
• Must be customer service oriented
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Postsecondary Degree preferred

Base Compensation: $37,765  - $50,000 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
