Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is seeking an Early Career Business Specialist (Sharepoint). The purpose of this position is to provide SharePoint application support for Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers. This person will analyze business needs, design, and develop SharePoint related solutions.

District Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of our company that offers a variety of services, including, temporary and permanent design services for current projects and new project pursuits in the United States and Canada.  Our design services group has offices in Colorado, Nebraska, Washington State, and Toronto, Canada offering expertise in structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, and materials disciplines.  Our engineering group is responsible for managing engineering assignments in support of Kiewit’s construction projects in both the United States and Canada.  As part of the engineering group, you will have the opportunity to work with other structural and geotechnical engineers, members of our interdisciplinary engineering team, as well as estimators, schedules and construction experts to provide advice on construction methodology, risk and the design of temporary works.

This role is located in Englewood, CO (South Denver).

Responsibilities
  • Provide SharePoint development and end user support / training
  • Aid with market intelligence and reporting
  • Work with other SharePoint Analysts in identifying and proposing application system changes, enhancements and developments and as well as working with the SharePoint Development Teams.
  • Assist in the training of new staff and provide expert advice and support to departments across the organization.
  • Help support SharePoint engineering/construction project sites
  • Track work and time in applicable ticket systems
  • Attend SharePoint update/schedule meetings
  • dentify/provide specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Provide SharePoint testing support
  • Identify and resolve problems affecting SharePoint applications
  • Create and maintain process and training documentation
  • Displays first-rate customer service skills - willing to help with a positive attitude when/where needed, and be helped with gratitude
Qualifications
  • BS or equivalent experience –Information Technology, Engineering Technology or a relevant technical related Degree or experience
  • 1+ years of experience in SharePoint/Web Application development, administration and support.
  • Experience as a Sharepoint Administrator in the analysis, design, hands-on development and support of SharePoint project sites
  • Ability to write code and create workflows within Sharepoint
  • Knowledge in Infopath form development
  • Knowledge in workflow development in Nintex and SharePoint Designer 2013
  • Knowledge in List/Library modification and set up
  • Interpersonal skills with an aptitude for communicating technical issues to both peers and non-technical staff
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and write clearly and concisely
  • Customer focus - understanding the needs of the internal or external customer and keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Preferred Skills:
    • SharePoint Designer 2013, and O365 knowledge
    • SharePoint Designer workflow development
    • Project Management skills
    • Abilities to listen and understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions
    • Extra: Power Apps and Flow knowledge
