Position Overview
Reporting to the responsible Project Manager, this role will support the safety and security of the DNNP project property. The Security Lead will observe and report activities and incidents on the project’s property.

Location
The position will be based on our project in Darlington, ON.
Responsibilities
- Access control provisions, screening visitors and ensuring visitors follow security protocols.
- Monitor traffic flow of the entrance gates.
- Ensuring all areas are security monitored during working hours.
- Follow proper procedure for all matters requiring escalation.
- Conduct foot patrols checking site doors, windows, rooms, maintenance areas etc.
- Collect shift activity reports and turn in for the Manager’s review.
Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Post Secondary education in a related field is an asset
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Previous work experience in a related field or with a security company
- Experience working on a construction site is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (both oral and written).
- Organizational and time management skills. #LI-SL1
