Position Overview
As Document Controls Administrator, you will provide construction administration services to ensure technical documents are completed in accordance with technical and internal quality standards.

Location
The position will be based on our project in Darlington, ON. The successful candidate will be local to Darlington, Oshawa or surrounding areas, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Assist technicians with day-to-day activities involving active technical duties.

Maintain communications and documentation related to construction, including contract documents, drawings, plans, and specifications.

Place timely office orders to maintain an inventory of required materials.

Receive, record, and prepare documents for submittal.

Organize and maintain job-site files, documents, reports, and daily logs; prepare periodic reports for document control purposes.

Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High school or college graduate.
-
Working knowledge of building components and systems.
-
Familiarity with construction processes, including means and methods.

Knowledge of applicable state and federal safety standards.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.

Capability to use personal protective equipment when needed on construction sites.

Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Basic proficiency with software like AutoCAD, PDF tools, etc.

Experience in quality procedures. #LI-GH
