Primary Responsibilities 
•    Support team members in their roles as a program focal point for quality control/assurance, acting as a liaison with other functional departments. 
•    Develop a thorough understanding of the project scope and schedule as they relate to his/her specific assignment.
•    Fully understand and perform all inspections in accordance to specified procedures, codes and standards. 
•    Research, read and interpret construction plans, standards and specifications. 
•    Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.
•    Complete and ensure the integrity of inspection results and documentation daily. 
•    Assist with identifying and reporting rework and non-conforming issues. 
•    Pro-actively communicate and enforce quality requirements to construction operations personnel.  
 
Qualifications
•    High school diploma, general education degree, associate’s degree in a related field or a minimum of five years equivalent work experience 
•    Self-starter with exceptional organization and interpersonal skills 
•    Local and/or national certifications in soils, concrete, asphalt or welding 
•    Working knowledge of the specific trade of discipline as assigned, with associated special processes, inspection and testing techniques 
•    Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and codes 
•    Working knowledge of construction industry codes relating to area of expertise (i.e. ACI, AWS, ASME, NEC, etc.) 
•    Ability to read and write in English; basic math and computer skills
