Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Marketing Coordinator in our growing Business Line Management Group. You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects. 

District Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects.  Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk.  Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety.   Clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and best practices for all projects that we support.

This role will be based out of Kiewit’s Fortworth, TX or Englewood, CO Office

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing in-house creative team. This is a role for a proactive multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, and an upbeat attitude. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for assisting the marketing, creative, and proposals teams with various tasks including but not limited to graphic editing and design, association coordination, event coordination, and presentation and document formatting. The selected candidates primary responsibilities will be:

  • Prepare and lead project award submissions for key industry associations
  • Assist in organization and management of all industry associations and conferences 
  • Create and maintain tracking system that provides organized reporting that provides metrics of all benefits associated with industry associations and conferences 
  • Provide graphics support by editing existing graphics, developing elements for larger graphics, and designing new graphics. 
  • Assist with the production of all print pieces, including communicating with external vendors and/or using in-house production tools to produce professional-quality materials. 
  • Support the marketing manager by researching goods and services, coordinating logistical details and attending events in-person as needed. 
  • Help the marketing and proposals teams with formatting PowerPoint presentations and Word documents. 
  • Assist in research and development of content for external collateral materials
  • Assist in developing and maintaining best practices and templates, and style guide for the marketing department
  • Successfully execute multiple projects with shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment. 
  • Complete additional tasks as requested. 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Journalism, English, or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of experience as marketing/communications coordinator or equivalent work experience 
  • Proficient Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator required) 
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required) 
  • Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and process with an innate attention to detail
  • Strong creative, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills 
  • Extremely organized, methodical, and detail-oriented 
  • Adaptable, quick learner 
  • Excellent listening and communication skills  
  • Works well independently and on a team 
  • Professionally handle constructive criticism 
  • Occasional travel may be required 

Base Compensation: $50,000  - $70,000 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
