Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Architect specializing in eDiscovery to support our legal department with advanced data management and compliance solutions. This role will design and implement enterprise data architectures that enable secure collection, processing, and analysis of legal data across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include building scalable data pipelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing systems for case management, discovery requests, and litigation support. The architect will collaborate closely with attorneys, compliance teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver governance, security, and usability in all eDiscovery processes.
District Overview
Kiewit’s legal department provides broad support across the company, including litigation management, contract review and negotiation, compliance, dispute resolution, investigations, and governance programs, supporting all business units in a shared services environment.
Location
This role is located in our Bloomington, MN office and requires regular on-site attendnace.
Responsibilities
· Support legal teams with eDiscovery, document review, and case management using advanced business systems.
· Act as product owner for legal technology platforms, driving enhancements and ensuring alignment with business needs.
· Design, implement, and maintain workflow automation and ticketing systems to streamline legal operations.
· Partner with attorneys, compliance officers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
· Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
· 5+ years in eDiscovery platforms, case management systems, and workflow automation tools.
· RCA certification is preferred
· Background in paralegal work, legal operations, or compliance support.
· Strong technical skills in business systems, data management, and process optimization.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge legal and technical stakeholders.

Base Compensation: $110,000/yr - $120,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
