Location: This role will initially support oil, gas, and chemical projects in California. That being said, we are looking for long-term employees to join the Kiewit/TIC family and work on some of the top projects across the United States.

District: TIC Denver is one of Kiewit’s Districts that focuses on construction projects in industrial settings. These projects range from Power to OGC and Mining across the country. TIC Denver is an “open-shop” environment. 

Position Overview:
As a Project Quality Manager with TIC Denver you will provide the leadership that drives the overall success of the quality program to ensure that the product meets all standards and requirements listed in the Project Quality Plan. This position is designed to be a mid-career manager that works with minimal supervision, while taking the lead in managing all Quality Assurance and Quality Control on the project site.

The Project Quality Manager is responsible for the overall program management, and is responsible for developing the Project Quality Plan, goals and objectives. 

Primary Responsibility:
As a Project Quality Manager you will contribute directly to the success of the project team by performing these essential duties:  
•    Develop and implement a successful project quality program based upon contract requirements and company quality standards.
•    Directly supervise and manage inspection and testing personnel.
•    Develop positive and trustworthy relationships with the client.
•    Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting and solutions for quality issues.
•    Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping is performed, validated and easily retrievable through audits.
•    Promote and enforce quality processes with the goal of performing work right the first time.
•    Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
•    Ensure that all non-conformance work is properly reported, tracked and documented.
•    Research, read and interpret construction plans, standards and specifications.
•    Assist with the development of root cause analysis.
•    Personally meet deadlines and contribute in a positive, safe, professional and high-quality project.

•    At least seven years’ experience developing and implementing construction quality management programs in the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) or Power industry
•    Bachelors or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, welding, civil engineering, industrial or related discipline (preferred)
•    Certifications from AWS, CWB, API, ACI, ICBO, ASNT, NACE, etc. are advantageous
•    Exceptional math, computer, verbal and written communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
•    Effective organizational, analytical, problem solving and time management skills
•    Ability to work independently or as part of a team
•    Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments
•    Ability to travel and/or relocate as required
