Position Overview
As a Corporate Crane and Rigging Trainer you will support our various corporate sponsored training programs along with project training support across our company, be responsible for managing the curricula along with providing training for Crane Operations, Rigging, Bull Rigging, Qualified Signal Person, Lift Director, Authorized Examiner/Inspector program as well as other crane-centric training provided within our company.
District Overview
Kiewit Equipment Services (KES) helps to ensure the profitability of Kiewit projects through the improved equipment utilization and mechanical reliability by delivering world-class equipment and service. Crane Services, part of the KES group, has the primary role of managing all our Mobile and Tower Crane Operations, along with the management, coordination and training aspects for KES.
Location
This position is based out of our Lone Tree, CO office and will regularly work out of our world-class, state of the art technical training facility in Aurora, CO. Responsibilities
- Work with a vibrant and diverse team to provide exceptional training for our vast construction operations throughout North America.
- Support both administrative and training activities as assigned by supervisor; review/develop training materials, training schedules, under the supervision of the KES Training Manager.
- Learn to supervise and manage various training programs, schedule and manage travel and record trainings in Talent Navigator (LMS).
- Prepare work plans, assure quality control, manage and track costs and materials, schedule equipment, administer safety programs and keep exceptional owner relations.
- Willingness to travel as needed for the district and job needs.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in subject matter of crane operations, rigging, and all aspects of crane safety, (Able to train the right candidate based on candidate's needs).
- Must be able to successfully obtain and be proficient in rigging/crane-lifting qualifications, crane operation fundamentals as it is related to understanding, and owning Examiner and Inspector requirements for the organization.
- Professional facilitation experience in both small and large group format training environments. (Able to train the right candidate and must show the willingness to learn and adapt to meet KES Training standards).
- Maintain a professional training culture that is beneficial to all learners with an emphasis on industry standards, manufacturers, guidelines and Kiewit policies and best practices.
- Proficient in Word and PowerPoint for creating and updating various training documents and presentations.
- Ability to travel as business requires.
- Previous work experience in crane operations and construction preferred.
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.
- Highly motivated with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.

Base Compensation: $90,000/yr - $100,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
