  • Oversee all aspects of development, implementation, standardization, and management of the Transportation Compliance Programs for the assigned location(s).
  • Assist with Driver Qualification Files, Pre-Employment, Post-Accident, Random, and Reasonable Suspicion drug testing for the assigned location(s).
  • Oversee and manage the transportation compliance program to include; vehicle inspections, Hours of Service records, driver training, etc.
  • Work with Project Operations, Safety staff and Regional Transportation Compliance Managers to support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, follow-up, closure of action items, and learning for all vehicle crashes involving CMV’s for the assigned location(s).
  • Work with Project Operations, Safety staff and Regional Transportation Compliance Manager to implement and manage; proactive systems to ensure compliance with Company requirements, Federal and State DOT regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of district and project management, Regional Transportation Compliance Managers, staff, and craft employees.  Review pending and upcoming changes to Federal & State DOT regulations.
  • Prepare, analyze, and disseminate detailed reports from the Company’s current ELD and telematics system.
  • Analyze loading, routing, and delivery methods.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all regulated vehicles and drivers for the assigned location(s).
  • Other duties as assigned. 


  • 2+ years DOT compliance 
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal and State trucking regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; a working knowledge of the DOT Letters of Interpretation and other Regulatory Guidance a plus. 
  • Strong leadership, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments with limited supervision.
  • Self-starter, ability to prioritize and organize projects and assignments with limited supervision.
  • A learner’s attitude that consistently demonstrates curiosity and flexibility.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive and positive manner.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other regulatory documents.
  • Proficient knowledge of computers and typical production software (e.g., MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • GeoTab ELD experience preferred.
