Position Overview
Kiewit requires the services of a dynamic and versatile administrative assistant for its Laval, Quebec office. The ideal candidate will support the team in a variety of administrative support tasks. The Administrative Assistant must be resourceful and support the department in providing management support, be familiar with software, tools and programs used in the industry, as well as best practices in the field.

Location
This position is based out of Kiewit's Laval, Quebec office.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Department management team in a timely and efficient manner
- Support the projects team
- Support the administrative support team already in place
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including agendas, invitations, reservations, preparation of all required meeting items (rooms, office supplies, meals, etc.) for both in and out of office meetings
- Keep up-to-date contact lists and calendars, using Outlook, for multiple team members
- Organize and coordinate travel schedules, reservations, and complete expense reports
- Keep various databases, reports and templates up to date
- Be and stay current with industry and company software and technology
- Organize and attend some conference calls
- Make prints and copies, and ensure distribution
- Greet visitors in a courteous manner and ensure that they are introduced to the right people at the reception desk
- Assist managers with onboarding new employees, ordering materials and pre-hire follow-ups
- Assist managers in the planning and organization of activities.

- Highly resourceful and able to complete tasks quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and French
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Very good ability to work in a team environment, with different people and in different groups
