Position Overview

As a Document Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for capturing and distributing all pertinent project documentation and ensuring the project team has access to the latest revisions in a timely manner. The Document Control Coordinator must ensure all project documentation is controlled and adheres to all internal Kiewit requirements as well as project-specific requirements and procedures.

District Overview

Kiewit’s Central District is one of our largest infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, structural concrete/bridge, water/wastewater, and transportation projects. We self-perform work such as mass grading, drainage, paving, utility and more - so be ready to get your hands dirty! While headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the majority of our work is concentrated in the Central and South-Central regions of the United States. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry rather than design.  

Location

This position will be located at a project in Golden, CO. 

Responsibilities

•    Perform document control duties in project site office as assigned with supervision. 
•    Contribute to a team responsible for document flow and distribution at a job site.
•    Process project deliverables by formally issuing documents via the project electronic document management system within 24 hours of receipt.
•    Perform quality checks for all deliverables to ensure adherence with internal and contract requirements and clearly communicate all required deliverable corrections with the Responsible Engineer when quality check requirements have not been met.
•    Maintain project-specific logs and reports.
•    Develop, define, and analyze solutions to documentation requirements.
•    Uploading documents into SharePoint and/or InEight Document
•    Facilitate project deliverables, documents for operation, and final project turnover acceptance.
 

Qualifications

•    High School Diploma 
•    Previous experience in document control and construction/engineering roles preferred but not required.
•    Familiarity with document control tools and software.
•    Ability to use appropriate tools and methods to collect and analyze data to identify and resolve business and/or technical problems.
•    Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
•    Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
•    Demonstrated commitment to business ethics and integrity.
•    Team player with the ability to work with others or work independently, as required, to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
•    Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
•    Comfortable with a fast-moving work environment, pressure, change, and ambiguity.
•    Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, PDF markup tools (Bluebeam, Adobe), e-mail, and internet.
•    Basic knowledge of document control procedures.
•    Willing to perform a variety of tasks and learn new skills.
•    Ability to maintain strict confidence of important, sensitive information and materials.

Base Compensation: $45,242 - $67,864 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
