Position Overview

Successful candidates for this role will have prior experience in designing and administering base pay and incentive pay programs, completing salary surveys, and support mobility pay practices. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, be proactive and diligent and enjoy performing in a fast paced and innovative environment.
District Overview
HR Operations is an integral partner and service provider at Kiewit. In recent years, we have gone from decentralized HR groups to a unified, shared service team, with various HR Centers of Excellence. Our vision is to be a best-in-class international HR organization.
Location
This position is based out of one of our Kiewit locations in Canada. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversees compensation review cycles, including process and systems
- Researches and analyzes data to determine appropriate salary levels and job titles
- Conducts and participates in salary surveys, interprets salary data, and performs detailed analysis
- Assists in developing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures
- Conducts impact analysis, data modeling and costing of compensation program changes
- Provides compensation support to business and shared service units
- Assists in audit support
- Monitors and supports mobility pay program
- Special projects as required
Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in field
- Expert using Excel, and or other data analysis tools
- International experience a plus (specifically Canada and or Mexico)
- Accounting or finance classes or experience a plus
- SAP and SuccessFactors compensation modules experience a plus
- Ability to work with senior level leaders, business unit HR Managers, shared services compensation managers, and information technology representatives
