Position Overview
This position is responsible for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, utilization and reliability of a construction and mining equipment fleet. The position will deal with day to day as well as long term issues related to an equipment fleet. The position’s main focus will be to improve equipment reliability as well as implement, monitor, audit, and manage preventative maintenance programs. This position does not perform actual manual preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.

This position will be based out of our Westlake, Texas office.

Responsibilities
• Provide data analytics for in-place or planned construction power generation systems.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Assist projects in designing optimized temporary power generation solutions.
• Lead and/or coordinate internally and with equipment suppliers to plan for and receive the support needed to guarantee successful commissioning and equipment uptime.
• Coordinate, prepare and deliver alternative power generation/management technology presentations with project staff and other departments.
• Participate in innovation workshops to vet problems and brainstorm solutions.
• Create processes to complete tasks where no process previously existed.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Establish best practices, providing internal and external examples, and getting hands-on with them in developing their solutions.
• Develop relationships with similarly focused Kiewit teams.
• Openly discuss concerns and propose solutions to address them.
• Ability to lead, influence, and motivate team members to achieve results.
• Continuously improve KES processes by researching trends, tools, and techniques.
• Assist in Innovation projects through market research, ideation, solutioning and user-centric validation.
Qualifications
o BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Certified Energy Manager or industry experience in Power Generation system design.
o 1+ year of experience with equipment is preferred, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
o Strong work ethic, organizational, time management and communication skills.
o Proficient with AC electrical systems.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple projects at once while prioritizing tasks.
o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
o Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and team members
o Ability to Travel up to 25% of the time
o Ability to freely access all points of a construction site or equipment yard in wide-ranging climates and environment
