Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Document Control/Compliance Specialist to support our team in managing and maintaining critical documentation processes. This role is essential to ensuring compliance, accuracy, and accessibility of controlled documents across the organization.

Kiewit Water Facilities South specializes in constructing water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and desalination plants across North America. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust document control systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the full document lifecycle, including creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving, while safeguarding the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Support internal and external stakeholders by responding promptly to information requests and facilitating audits and inspections.
- Play an active role in corrective and preventive action investigations, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on document control workflows and standards.
- Maintain and updated hard copy Construction Work Packages, ensuring accuracy and timely incorporation of revisions.
- Delivere project reports and maintained detailed logs to support transparency and accountability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, enhancing efficiency across document control operations.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in document control, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
- Ability to keep up with fast-paced atmosphere and understanding of how to prioritize work based on business needs.
- Strong understanding of document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, InEight).
- Must have a solid technical aptitude for many software applications and learn new software effortlessly.
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and work collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess an aptitude to lead and manage people.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and InEight software is a plus.
