Kiewit's South Central District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include mass grading, drainage, paving, utility and more. Although most of our work is regionally based in the south-central region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the United States. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry as opposed to design.
Location
This position will be based on a project in the Santa Teresa, NM area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project files, records, correspondence, and document management systems.
- Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of project and administrative information.
- Assist with preparation, distribution, and filing of project documentation, reports, contracts, and correspondence.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and other project-related documentation.
- Support onboarding activities for craft and staff employees, including documentation and record maintenance.
- Coordinate meetings, conference rooms, travel arrangements, and office schedules.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory levels.
- Assist project teams with document tracking, scanning, copying, and filing activities.
- Generate reports using Microsoft Office applications and internal company systems.
- Support payroll, timekeeping, and workforce documentation activities as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of company, project, and employee information.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative, clerical, office support, or construction administration experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SharePoint, SAP, Oracle, or document management systems preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism and customer service skills.
- Experience in engineering, construction, industrial, or project-based environments is a plus.
