District Overview
Kiewit's South-Central District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil and transportation markets. Projects you could work on include mass grading, drainage, paving, underground utilities and more. Although most of our work is regionally based in the south-central region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the United States. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry as opposed to engineering design.
Location
This opportunity will be located at one of our project sites in Study Butte, TX.
Responsibilities

Maintain project files, correspondence, contracts, permits, drawings, and other project documentation.

Support project teams with document distribution, filing, tracking, and record retention.

Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and project communications.

Coordinate and schedule project meetings, site visits, and conference calls.

Track action items and follow up with project stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to increase efficiencies within department.

Coordinate site office operations and maintain office supplies and equipment.

Assist with onboarding new employees, visitors, and subcontractors.

Manage travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements when required.

Support site logistics and workforce communication efforts.

Maintain employee rosters, site directories, and project contact lists.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1+ year(s) of administrative experience.
- Knowledge of MS Excel is required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and excellence in AP processing.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; the ability to use logic and reasoning to analyze and identify strengths/weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Strong analytical, math, and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand both functional and end-to-end processes and controls.
- Excellent customer service and collaboration skills with the ability to connect and build relationships with others both inside and outside of the organization.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment.
