Position Overview
As a Senior Survey Manager, you will play an integral role in establishing and maintaining methods for a safe, accurate and efficient Survey Department. You will have responsibilities over contractual requirements, design model review and field survey operations, and should plan to spend around 30% of your time in the field observing and instructing the survey operations.

Kiewit's Southeast District specializes in heavy civil, transportation and water resource markets, and has played a significant role in building infrastructure throughout the fast-growing southeastern United States. Since the 1970s, we have built projects from Maryland to Florida and west to Louisiana. Our operations include highways, airports, mass transit, tunnels, water and wastewater facilities, dams and infrastructure work.

This position is located at the Shady Hills Energy Center in Spring Hill, FL.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and managing contractual requirements, including specific surveys for design, monumentation, and layout
- Reviewing design models for accuracy and coordinating with designers to ensure seamless survey operations
- Supervising field survey operations, overseeing staffing, project planning, and quality control
- Maintaining official plans, conducting periodic audits, and providing staff training for proficiency
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel and relocate as necessary
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction Survey or related fields
- Proficiency in algebra and geometry for calculations
- Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills
- Emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork
