Position Overview
We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to support a large project, based in our project office in San Ygnacio Texas. If you enjoy being that first point of contact, have strong customer service skills and are looking to grow your administrative skills, we would love to talk with you. This role may require occasional overtime in the evenings and weekends, so we are looking for a team player, willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

District Overview
Our Central District, a division of Kiewit, operates in the central and south-central regions of the United States, supporting Infrastructure projects. We build heavy civil and transportation projects, including highways, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams and tunnels and are the first team to get to the site. With one of the largest equipment fleets in the region, we can mobilize to any location as a full-service construction team capable of self-performing mass grading, drainage, bridge construction, aggregate production, paving, rail and utility construction and have a large surveying team supporting projects throughout the region.
Location
This position will be based full time out of our Project Office at 4375 North US highway 83, San Ygnacio, Texas for the duration of the project (end of 2027). We are looking for local candidates only, and are not offering relocation for this role.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day front office support, which could include answering phones, and assisting Kiewit employees, clients, vendors, and other office visitors. Support the team with clerical tasks as needed.
Present a professional demeanor, strong customer focus attitude, as you represent the company in this outward facing role.
Assisting Office Manager and the team as needed, which could include copying, printing, getting the mail, FedEx processes, developing binders and assisting with paperwork.
Assist Office Manager with schedule/coordination of inter-group and cross-company meetings involving department staff.
Order food from caterer, coordinate delivery, receipt on site, and removal of food from the facility with the caterer or other deliveries.
Support front office/reception occasionally/as needed some evenings and weekends to meet deadlines
Support our workforce planning and discipline managers as needed which may include:
Assisting with Craft Onboarding and craft organizational management
Submit craft requisitions and track craft evaluations
Assist craft services team in developing the recruiting plan and building the talent pool and processing craft actions in the system.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in a front office/reception type or role, performing similar functions as what is outlined above in a professional environment.
• Professional presence and demeanor to interact with all levels of stakeholders. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational skills
• At least 2 years of using the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and willingness to learn our other IT systems to execute your work.
• Able to maintain strict confidence of important, sensitive information and materials.
• Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and clients. Demonstrates initiative to solve problems, action orientation and be a self-starter.
• Bilingual-Spanish/English is preferred
• Able to work overtime and weekends occasionally as needed to support important initiatives and deadlines

Base Compensation: $15/hour - $25/hour
