Position Overview
Kiewit's Southwest District is looking for an Receptionist for our District Office to handle a variety of tasks from answering inbound phone calls, support office management, coordinate meetings, among other simliar duties.
District Overview
Kiewit Southwest District specializes in heavy civil, transportation and water projects, we typically self-perform a large portion of the work. We do self-performance work such as mass grading, drainage, PCCP paving, utilities and more. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry with safety, quality, costs and schedule in mind.
Location
This position will be based at our District Home Office in Sandy, UT.
Responsibilities
- Managing the front desk; directing emails, calls and all onsite visitors.
- Manage calendars of office executives.
- Assist in office management, supplies and delivery placement
- Assisting with planning and setting up for District events.
- Managing vendor management for supplies and District events.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings including agenda preparation, meeting invitations, reserving and preparing facilities and resources, and arranging offsite meetings as requested.
- Maintain contact list and calendars in Outlook.
- Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations.
- Maintain various logs, reports and templates.
- Data entry and other office administrative tasks.
Qualifications
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) experience
• High School Diploma/GED
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
