Position Overview

Kiewit is seeking an experienced Project Information Manager (PIM) to join our Integrated Digital Delivery Team. The Project Information Manager (PIM) is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and oversight of project information strategies, tools, and processes across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) phases. This role acts as a critical liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure structured data capture, integration, and delivery in alignment with project and client requirements. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and process-oriented with strong facilitation and communication skills.

This is a remote position that may require travel. 

Responsibilities

InformationStrategy

  • Collaborate with project leadership, engineering, data teams.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards and client-specific digital expectations.

Workshops & Collaboration

  • Plan and document outcomes from multi-disciplinary workshops aimed at defining scope, metadata, lifecycle information.
  • Lead clarification and alignment sessions with stakeholders.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Partner with various teams to enforce data governance, validation rules, and progressive information maturity.Ensure consistent and high-quality metadata population across all systems, including Common Data Environments, engineering models, and completions systems.

Support & Enablement

  • Provide ongoing support to project teams for digital tools, data workflows, and reporting strategies.
  • Assist in creating data management plans, guidance documents, training materials, and process diagrams.

Reporting & Oversight

  • Track progress on information deliverables and flag risks.
  • Coordinate reporting.
  • Use SQL queries to access, validate, and analyze data.

Qualifications

  • Experience in troubleshooting data issues with various teams in resolving issues.
  • Have knowledge, skills, and experience in secondary tools such as data management tools, project execution tools, and EPCC work processes.
  • Excellent written and strong oral communication skills.
  • Good time management/organizational skills.
  • SQL Proficiency: Demonstrated experience writing and optimizing SQL queries to retrieve, filter, and join datasets for validation, troubleshooting, and reporting purposes.
  • Data Analysis & Modeling: Ability to understand and map metadata structures, tag conventions, and document relationships across systems.
  • Tools Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or equivalent tools, Power BI, and enterprise-level data platforms.
  • Strong documentation abilities.
  • Clear and professional communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-Oriented: Precision in documentation, validation, and tracking of information and deliverables.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, Construction Management, etc

Base Compensation: $107,000/yr - $112,000/yr

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
