Position Overview
As a Building Manager, you will conduct rountine walkthroughs of the administrative buildings and shop building to indentify maintenance needs, safety concerns or potential repairs. You will manage materials, tools and equipment, as organize, maintain and service equipment. Your job will be to ensure safety, supervise staff and overall facilities maintenance.

District Overview
Kiewit's Southeast District specializes in heavy civil, transportation and water resource markets, and has played a significant role in building infrastructure throughout the fast-growing southeastern United States. Since the 1970s, we have built projects from Maryland to Florida and west to Louisiana. Our operations include highways, airports, mass transit, tunnels, water and wastewater facilities, dams and infrastructure work.
Location
This position is based out of Peachtree City, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of the administrative buildings and shop building to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns or potential repairs.
- Perform minor maintenance repairs within skill level (replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, simple leak fixes, etc.).
- Serve as an on-site contact for maintenance vendors, annual inspections, HVAC, landscaping, etc.
- Serve as groundskeeper on the property; identify landscaping needs, irrigation problems, storm damage or preparation, maintain clear and safe walkways/entryways.
- Coordinate with admin to document maintenance issues in Fiix software system.
- Assist with office moves, furniture and/or junk removal and disposal as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records related to yard operations, including inventory records, equipment logs, maintenance reports, and environmental and safety documentation.
- Work with management to review existing processes and procedures and promote processes and procedures that make the operations of the yard more efficient
