Position Overview
Supports commercial administration for Systems work packages (e.g., traction power, communications, SCADA, signals). Interfaces closely with technical systems teams and commercial management.
District Overview
Eastern Canada District's projects include highways, bridges, mass transit, mine site development & open pit operations, hydroelectric powerhouses, wind-power plants, dams & industrial. The serve the construction and mining industries and operates in Eastern Canada.
Location
This role will be based in Ottawa
Responsibilities
- Review commercial implications of systems design changes, field changes, and interface issues.
- Assist with pricing, scope validation, cost impacts, and commercial exposure tracking; maintain change logs.
- Prepare and manage RFQ/RFP and work authorization documentation; support subcontractor engagement.
- Review systems deliverables for contract compliance; coordinate with engineering to validate scope.
- Coordinate financial forecasts, earned value inputs, and commercial reporting for systems packages.
Qualifications
- Understanding of LRT systems (signals, communications, traction power) preferred.
- Strong commercial documentation, cost tracking, and analytical skills.
- Background in engineering or commercial management; ability to interpret technical material.
- Familiarity with common construction systems (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex/Unifier, P6, Bluebeam, Power BI) is considered an asset.
- This posting is specific to the OLRT Stage 2 program in Ottawa and may involve coordination with JV partners and client representatives.

Base Compensation: 80,000 - 110,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
