Position Overview

The position is responsible for leading strategic technology programs from planning through delivery across Kiewit business functions. This role ensures program outcomes, roadmaps, and delivery plans support the company's overall strategy and measurable business goals. This position will coordinate teams across Kiewit Technology Group and external stakeholders.  The role requires a strategic mindset, executive-level relationship and communication skills, strong delivery discipline, and demonstrated leadership behaviors. The ability to effectively communicate and operate in a dynamic, matrixed environment is key. This position is responsible for leading cross-functional program teams, aligning stakeholders, managing dependencies, and driving execution across product, business, and technology groups.

Location

This is a full time in office role located on our LaVista, NE campus. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead program planning and execution with business stakeholders and technology teams to align priorities, timelines, and outcomes with strategic objectives.Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, enabling success in a dynamic and evolving technology environment.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decision logs.
  • Communicate program status, progress, risks, decisions, and changes to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Establish and communicate the vision and execution strategy for assigned programs.
  • Oversee program roadmaps and delivery plans, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand priorities, gather feedback, drive adoption, and measure value realization.
  • Coordinate business, product, and technology workstreams to ensure resources and delivery approaches support program objectives.
  • Collaborate across technology teams to manage dependencies, align efforts, and improve delivery effectiveness.Advocate for business needs by representing stakeholder priorities to technology teams.
  • Partner with vendors, external partners, and internal teams to remove obstacles and maintain program momentum.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, product delivery, or program management.
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with the ability to align stakeholders, manage dependencies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, create urgency, and guide teams through ambiguity.
  • Experience working effectively across all levels of a matrixed organization.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with a track record of delivering results and following through on commitments.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across business and technology teams.
  • Ability to drive alignment and decision-making among stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Experience with budget management, forecasting, resource planning, or program financials preferred.
  • Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, Agile delivery, product management, or change management is a plus.
