We are seeking a Real Estate Analyst to join our dynamic Real Estate Team, where you will play a key role in managing financial and leasing operations for our properties. Reporting to the Real Estate Director, you will collaborate with various departments within Kiewit, as well as interact with landlords, tenants, and vendors. Location

The position is based in the office at our Headquarters, located in Omaha Nebraska.  This is a corporate office in a professional office setting.   This is not a remote position and we do not offer relocation for this position.  

Responsibilities

  • Support bookkeeping functions for our real estate properties including:  paying vendors and invoices, track receivables and capital payments.
  • Administer space, seating and occupancy software (iOffice)
  • Administer and process property tax payments and assessments on our owned properties.
  • Recover security deposits upon termination of leases.  
  • Work alongside Real Estate Manager(s) to assist with our residential leases and executive suites.
  • Maintain property, vendor and departmental files with proper documentation and organization.
  • Create monthly departmental performance reporting and establish KPIs to measure departmental success. 
  • Assist with the administration of various real estate databases and communication tools.
  • Assist with creating efficient department processes and procedures. 
  • Work alongside Real Estate Managers to assist with various transactions and reporting.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, or a related field required 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative, bookkeeping, or financial roles with similar responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and formulas). Experience with SAP or similar systems is preferred. Familiarity with real estate software is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working independently while seeking assistance as needed.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build strong internal and external relationships.
