Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Technology Project Manager to lead enterprise systems modernization initiatives and oversee the structured decommissioning of legacy technologies. This role will drive complex, cross-functional technology programs from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with disciplined project leadership and exceptional stakeholder communication skills. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business leaders, technical teams, and external partners while balancing competing priorities across multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership
•    Lead end-to-end delivery of systems modernization initiatives, including platform upgrades, cloud migrations, integrations, and digital transformation efforts.
•    Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
•    Oversee structured decommissioning of legacy systems, ensuring minimal operational disruption and proper data transition, archival, or retirement.
•    Balance multiple concurrent priorities while maintaining delivery discipline and execution excellence.
Technical Oversight & Governance
•    Provide technical review and oversight to ensure solutions meet architectural standards, cybersecurity requirements, and long-term scalability objectives.
•    Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to validate solution design, implementation approach, and technical dependencies.
•    Identify risks, technical debt, and modernization opportunities, proactively escalating when appropriate.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
•    Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients on assigned initiatives.
•    Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and outcomes clearly to executive and operational audiences.
•    Facilitate alignment across business units to ensure requirements are defined, documented, and delivered.
Strategic Alignment
•    Align technology initiatives with broader enterprise strategy and operational goals.
•    Contribute to technology roadmaps and modernization planning.
•    Support prioritization decisions based on business value, risk reduction, and resource capacity.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
•    10+ years of experience managing complex technology projects.
•    Demonstrated experience leading systems modernization, digital transformation, or legacy system decommissioning efforts.
•    Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and systems integration.
•    Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
•    Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
