Position Overview
The Project Manager, Technology Platforms executes enterprise technology platform projects in accordance with plans established by a Project Lead or Platform Manager. This role is responsible for driving day-to-day project execution, coordinating work across multiple technology teams, and ensuring commitments are met. Projects may be delivered by internal teams, external professional services providers, or a combination of both.

Location
This is a full time in office role located on our LaVista, NE campus. We are not offering relocation for this role.
Responsibilities
- Execute assigned technology projects in alignment with approved project plans, schedules, and priorities.
- Drive day-to-day execution by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Coordinate work across multiple technology teams, including engineering, infrastructure, architecture, security, and operations.
- Hold project participants accountable for commitments and timelines; escalate risks and issues when delivery is at risk.
- Monitor project status, risks, issues, and dependencies; coordinate with appropriate resources to develop necessary mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate project meetings and working sessions as needed.
- Provide clear, regular project status updates, including progress, risks, and required decisions.
- Coordinate activities with professional services or vendor partners, tracking deliverables and escalating performance concerns as necessary.
- Maintain required project documentation, including schedules, action items, and status reports.
- Ensure project execution aligns with established standards, methodologies, and governance processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- This role does not have direct people management responsibilities.
- Operates with the authority and leadership backing required to ensure assigned resources execute work according to the approved project plan and meet established commitments.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a technology related discipline, or equivalent experience in technology-focused project management.
- 3–5 years of project management experience supporting technology initiatives, with an emphasis on enterprise platforms, infrastructure, or core technology services.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating work across multiple technology teams.
- Experience managing or coordinating projects delivered by internal technology teams and/or professional services or vendor partners.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP or comparable) preferred but not required.
Concepts, Tools, and Methodologies
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience executing projects using waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches; familiarity with agile concepts is beneficial.
- Experience with common project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Project or equivalent, Azure DevOps, Jira, Teams, SharePoint).
