Position Overview

The Field Support/HCM Lead is responsible for training and coaching a highly engaged team of coordinators who provide quality support and outstanding customer service to all areas of the Kiewit organization.

This is a full time in office role located on our LaVista, NE campus. 

Responsibilities

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3-5 coordinators, including training, mentoring, quality review, productivity guidance, and troubleshooting
- Use technology effectively to resolve service requests promptly and accurately
- Review coordinator work for accuracy and service quality; monitor workloads and provide backup as needed
- Create and maintain process documents, training materials, and work instructions
- Support testing and cutover activities for Field Support/HCM related system enhancements
- Perform data analysis and reporting to support business needs
- Maintain a strong understanding of Kiewit’s core business operations, organizational structure, and departmental functions
- Model excellent customer service and respond quickly to business-critical issues
- Identify policy gaps and process improvement opportunities; collaborate with partners to drive efficiency
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and escalate critical issues to leadership in a timely manner

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
- Strong attention to detail; able to analyze data and identify discrepancies
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Leadership skills in coaching, collaboration, decision making, and relationship building
- Excellent organization and time management; able to set goals and prioritize work
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to influence, motivate, and actively listen
- Understanding of functional and end-to-end processes
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
- Able to work accurately and independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Possess excellent customer service and collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze alternatives and make sound decisions

 


Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience 
- HCM/HR/Payroll experience
- Prior experience in a shared services environment #LI-AK1
