Position Overview

The Project Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and operational performance of power delivery projects, including transmission, distribution, and substation work. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with utility standards and regulatory requirements. The manager coordinates cross‑functional teams, subcontractors, and field personnel while maintaining strong alignment with project objectives and client expectations.

Location

This position will be located out of Medford, OR.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day operational oversight for power delivery projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and performance tracking to ensure successful delivery.
  • Partner with engineering, construction, safety, and field teams to align project objectives and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety requirements, utility specifications, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, ensuring work is executed efficiently and according to scope.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews, prepare project reporting, and communicate status updates to leadership and clients.
  • Support staffing, onboarding, and development of field personnel to maintain high levels of competency and productivity.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, develop corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in utility, transmission, distribution, or power delivery project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver complex infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
