Position Overview

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering (KIWE) has an opening for a dynamic Scheduler in our growing Project Controls Group. As a Scheduler, you will get the opportunity to work closely with construction and engineering operations as you develop engineering and construction schedules. You will be responsible for building and updating schedules as various milestones and project deliverables are completed or added to the scope of work. Provide updates to key project team members on the progress of projects.

The Industrial Group projects span markets such as advanced technologies; mining, minerals and metals; process industries; industrial energy; drinking water; wastewater treatment and biosolids; desalination; and industrial water.

Location

This position is based out of our Lenexa, KS office.

Responsibilities

•    Developing schedules for estimates and current projects.
•    Prepare standard progress reports for each assigned project 
•    Coordination with project teams to assess reporting and identify risk and create accurate forecasts.

Qualifications

•   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related degree required
•   0-2 years of scheduling experience preferred
•   Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications 
•   Knowledge of, or a willingness to learn about, various project controls software, such as inEight Suite, Primavera P6, etc.
•   The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
•   Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Excel
•   Demonstrated work ethic
•   The ability to meet deadlines and put in the time needed to get the job done
•   Occasional extended assignments at other sites are possible      #LI-IPLA
