• Develops heat trace system designs including standard and custom controls to align with end user requirements.
• Prepares technical and pricing proposals for heat tracing materials and assists in the planning and execution of proposed design with engineering and construction.
• Devleops electric heat tracing scope on isometrics, prepares panelboard schedules, power and sensor location plans, standard or specific detailed installation instructions and other design engineering deliverables associated with heat tracing installation.
• Makes on-site visits to assist the field and end users to ensure proper design, to verify installation as specified, and to troubleshoot/resolve issues.

Required Experience
• B.S. Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or appropriate discipline.
• Eight to fifteen years heat trace experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to acquire additional technical knowledge, skills and expertise in engineering or physics science fields as required.
• Ability to meet people with confidence and reserve; be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing and feel comfortable working with customers and field personnel.
• Must have initiative, leadership abilities, and troubleshooting skills; must have the ability to plan and organize work so each assignment can proceed in an orderly and expeditious manner.
