We are seeking experienced Constructability Project Managers. Our Constructability Project Managers are responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a nuclear-related construction projects. Responsibilities

•    Develop complete discipline specific estimates for very large, complex industrial projects for electrical equipment and systems. 
•    Read/interpret contract requirements and specifications and develop notes for the unique or extraordinary items and capable of addressing technical challenges or inconsistencies during bid preparation. 
•    Coordinate with Estimating Management on Electrical related issues. 
•    Responsible for coordination between the estimating electrical discipline and estimating management. 
•    Know how to build the project (best practices, sequence, geographical challenges etc.). 
•    Understand what design deliverables by discipline are required and assure that the delivery schedule is met . 
•    Verify quantities and deliverables meet estimate required . 
•    Train and mentor other estimators. 
•    Stay current on various trends and developments such as new equipment, means & methods, and procedures developing in the industry or specialized discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, etc.). 
•    Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements and jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents. 
•    Understand project past cost data for benchmarking to compare to estimates.   Will be expected to perform site visits to learn our building methods and processes and past cost generation. 
•    Conduct detailed formal reviews of all engineered equipment, subcontract, and permanent material pricing. 
•    Prepare special studies or reports required by the unusual nature of some bid items or conditions. 
•    Assist Electrical Estimating Department Manager in developing and maintaining standard tools. 
•    Assist Electrical Estimating Department Manager in developing any Departmental Initiatives. 
•    Travel to project sites to collect data, as required. 
•    Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative with strong leadership, negotiation, planning and contract administration skills. 
•    Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.

Qualifications

•     Degree or diploma in a nuclear-related field, or a related combination of training and experience. 
•    10+ years of nuclear and management experience required. DOE/DOD experience managing field execution. 
•    Familiar with technical drawings systems and planning & reporting systems.  
•    Knowledge and understanding of construction mean/methods. 
•    Strong attention to detail; strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills. 
•    Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). 
•    Strong organizational and time management skills. 
•    Strong written and verbal communications skills. 
•    Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
•    Leader that seeks and accepts responsibility and leads by example. 
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
•    Must be able to travel time from 10-20%.
