Position Overview
As a Project Administrative Assistant, at Kiewit, you will provide administrative support to members of a specific project, department, and division while promoting teamwork and creativity by encouraging effective communication. This person should be motivated, possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient in various software systems such as MS Word, Teams, Excel, Share Point, and others.

Location
This is an in-office position in Lenexa, KS. This is not a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Support our current project execution team.
- Support project staff coordination and administration needs.
- Project staff event coordination: Arranges meetings, conferences, and events.
- Support project needs for project report compilation, editing, and submitting
- Provide day-to-day support with general administrative functions and team management needs (e.g., meeting coordination, travel support, team-building efforts, phone and email communication).
- Collaborate with and supporting team members, working on key projects and initiatives.
- Provide basic support for key company branding and marketing materials and events; helping organize and support key online media and video projects.
- Assist the team with messaging, writing, editing, researching and related support for external and internal communications, as needed.
- Prepare meeting agendas, assist with setup/cleanup, and create PowerPoint presentations as requested. Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Manage key expense reports, invoicing and purchasing card transactions.
- Track budgets and preparing related reports for team and company use.
- Manage and schedule inter-group and cross-company meetings involving department staff.
- Serve as a resource for answering questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
- Establish relationships and collaborates administrative processes across departments with stakeholders and subject matter experts

Qualifications
- At least 1-3+ years of administrative experience preferred.
- Experience supporting construction and/or engineering organizations is highly desirable.
- Experience with Federal Government Work, preferred Department of Energy Experience or Nuclear Industries, is a plus.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Eligibility for this position requires US citizenship; the successful candidate must provide proof of US citizenship in order to obtain badge access to the site.
- Self-starting attitude and demonstrated ability to get things done/leadership skills.
- Able to take direction and provide timely feedback on progress of tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and active listening skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work with occasional varying schedules in support of site operational needs. This may include occasional extended hours or weekend work (OT pay offered for over 8 hours).
- Willingness and ability to learn new software for business and document control needs
