District Overview
HR Operations is an integral partner and service provider at Kiewit. In recent years, we have gone from decentralized HR groups to a unified, shared service team, with various HR Centers of Excellence. Our vision is to be a best-in-class international HR organization.
Location
This position is based out of Omaha, NE or Lenexa, KS. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting and reqiures in-office attendance Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Lead new hires through their first days, ensuring they feel welcomed, prepared, and inspired and contunue ensuring their onboarding success through their first week of employment.
- Partner with managers to make certain offboarding is professional and supportive
- Apply listening tools, feedback loops, and data insights to improve processes.
- Work across HR functions to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Use technology and AI-enhanced insights to personalize experiences and streamline delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in HR, employee experience, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills paried with relationship-building skills.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort with evolving tools and technologies.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail #LI-AK1
