District Overview

HR Operations is an integral partner and service provider at Kiewit. In recent years, we have gone from decentralized HR groups to a unified, shared service team, with various HR Centers of Excellence. Our vision is to be a best-in-class international HR organization.

Location

This position is based out of Omaha, NE or Lenexa, KS. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting and reqiures in-office attendance Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hires through their first days, ensuring they feel welcomed, prepared, and inspired and contunue ensuring their onboarding success through their first week of employment.
• Partner with managers to make certain offboarding is professional and supportive
• Apply listening tools, feedback loops, and data insights to improve processes.
• Work across HR functions to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Use technology and AI-enhanced insights to personalize experiences and streamline delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in HR, employee experience, or a related field.
• Strong  interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills paried with relationship-building skills.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort with evolving tools and technologies.
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
