Location

Lenexa, KS, Houston, TX, Knoxville, TN, Itasca, IL. Other locations may be considered. 

This position may require travel to support district offices and job sites. 

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in design and/or drafting disciplines, with a strong background in electrical design.
• Proficiency with 3D design software, including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, SmartPlant 3D, or similar platforms. 
• SmartPlant 3D experience is preferred.Ability to visualize, develop, and coordinate designs within a 3D environment.
• Experience using Navisworks for design reviews and coordination.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while adapting to changing project needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and apply engineering and design standards accurately.
• DOE and/or commercial nuclear industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Demonstrated professionalism when interacting with clients, contractors, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
• Actively seeks, receives, and applies feedback to improve performance and deliverables.
