Position Overview
The Senior TG Analyst – Quality Assurance is responsible for leading quality assurance activities across complex, business-critical applications. This role owns end-to-end testing strategy, including manual testing, regression validation, and automated test development, to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, and compliance requirements. Working within an Agile environment, this role partners closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. A core focus of this position is expanding automated testing coverage using Playwright and other modern QA tools.

Location
This is a remote position, with occasional in-office attendance required for meetings, company events, or other business needs.
Responsibilities
• Own QA strategy, test planning, and execution across assigned application portfolios.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases across all phases of testing, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Design and expand automated test coverage using Playwright, prioritizing high-risk and high-value user paths.
• Identify, document, and validate defects; collaborate with engineering teams to determine priority, root cause, and resolution.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrum, and retrospectives.
• Validate user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage and alignment with business expectations.
• Support test data planning and validation across environments.
• Contribute to regression modernization efforts, including reusable test frameworks and Docker-enabled test execution where applicable.
• Communicate test status, quality risks, and release readiness clearly to delivery and leadership teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, tooling, and standards across teams.
Automation & Tooling Focus
This role plays a key part in advancing automated testing maturity. The Senior TG Analyst will write, maintain, and optimize Playwright-based automated tests, collaborate with developers on testability, and help define standards for sustainable automation. Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and supporting scalable execution environments is strongly valued.
Qualifications
• 6–8+ years of experience in software quality assurance for web and enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing, regression testing, and test plan ownership.
• Demonstrated experience building or contributing to automated testing suites using Playwright or similar modern frameworks.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Proficiency using Azure DevOps or similar tools for test management, defect tracking, and sprint execution.
• Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate quality risks clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership behaviors and ability to positively influence quality outcomes across teams.
